My Nightly Routine -- and how I get what I want

Let's see...first I brush my teeth, then I slip into something comfortable....

Then I tuck into bed with my smooth sheets and a heavy micro-velvety blanket. I snuggle with the dog for a little bit. And then, well...

I check my Discord messages to see which of you lovely friends has written me tonight. I have a conversation or two, and I chuckle because you are lovely company. And you are probably working on some big important project for the blockchain, or taking on large social media conglomerates to pave the way for blockchain technology. Or maybe you cashed in a half a bitcoin and bought yourself a newer, faster Tesla. Or perhaps you wrote a novel about rivulets of water cascading off of person parts and posted it to Hive and got $120 in votes. Maybe you have had a bad day, and you accidentally spammed all of discord and got nearly permanently banned when you meant to tip everyone instead, or your Splinterlands cards aren't renting out as high as you had hoped this month, or you've hit me up for some manifesting coaching because your job sucks and your boyfriend is a cheater, or you hit your head on the fridge after slipping in the kitchen and you fell unconscious for several hours onto the floor and woke up feeling battered and bruised, and no one to feed you soup or pat your brow and tell you it will be okay, so you called me and I try to soothe you. Sorry I can't fly out there this hot minute to have a real chat in person. But you all know I'd love nothing more than to do so.

Whatever the case may be, you have made my day feel more complete with you in it.

And that is a great way to end my day. So I write a blog post, about my nightly ritual, with you.

And then it is time for me to go to bed.

So, I start to get a little drowsy. I scoot down a little further into the bed and rest my shoulders and my head against the memory foam pillow. Two of them. And at that point, I either push the play button on my meditations videos, or put my cushy blue noise cancelling headphones on. Less because they are noise cancelling, and more because sleeping with earbuds is uncomfortable. And these ones are more comfortable and squishy.

And then, I select one of 4 or 5 favorite nightly self concept reprogramming recordings. And I fall asleep listening to it while I visualize the end result of something wonderful in my life that I'd like to see happen. And that wonderful thing knows what it is. And it shall happen.

And that is basically it. That is my nightly ritual. Just about every night.

Were you hoping for something...different? I suppose I throw a little bit of that in the mix now and then too. Don't you go getting any dirty ideas....tee hee hee.

The last thing I do:

The only other thing I do is DISREGARD 3D. This means, when something troubling or upsetting crops up for me during the day, I obviously handle what I need to at the most bare minimum to make sure it is being dealt with. And then --

I COMPLETELY TAKE MY ATTENTION OFF THE ISSUE. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I REMOVE MY EMOTIONAL REACTION TO IT. I CHANGE HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT AND REFRAIN FROM GETTING EMOTIONAL ABOUT IT. AS THIS EMOTION FUELS ITS EXISTENCE. I ASSIGN HAPPIER MEANINGS TO IT. I GIVE IT A DIFFERENT INTERPRETATION SO I CAN HAVE AN EASIER REACTION TO IT.

I do this because I know that emotionally reacting to a current reality is telling the reality that it is real, but more importantly, it is telling the belief that is creating it that it is real. And we are trying to CHANGE our subconscious beliefs. We cannot do that if we continue to respond to them as if they are true!

The reason we emotionally react to things is because they embody our fears and frustrations about ourselves and our life. If we had a clear set of core beliefs, then these things would not upset us. Nor would they exist.

Jesus how do you sleep with those big headphones on you?

LOL. I dunno. They are comfy. Sometimes they come off. But it's really soothing listening to the recordings. Especially when it brings me so much fortune and fabulousness to reprgram the subconscious. It's crazy, but it works.

Sometimes I just play things without headphones. And it's about the same -- just not as acutely powerful I guess.
