For a cough try something with sugar like honey warm tea. The honey has a natural sugar in it that coats your throat with the sugar molecules creating a film over it that naturally heals and surpresses your cough. The tea will take away the sinus headache if you have one because of the caffeine. The heat off the drink will open your airways and decongest them even more. Follow the tea with a long steam shower. This will farther decongest you. Do this right before bedtime and you should be able to get 4ish hours of uninterrupted sleep which is a blessing when you have bronchitis. If you have mint scented soap or shampoo this can be used too. Run Vicks on your chest and feet to farther open your airways. If one lung hurts more than the other lay on the side that doesn't hurt. This will allow the weaker lung to inflate better and heal naturally also. Advice from a former RN. :)

that's a very thorough advice, thank you!
