RE: Is Brightburn (2019) worth your time?

I enjoyed the concept but the movie left me wanting a little more from the concept I wanted to see his internal battle but it looks like it was more about him being truly evil

I didn’t know it was a horror when I saw it so the gore surprised me for sure

The ending also feels like they trying to set up sequels! Could we see evil versions of the flash, aquaman and the rest of the justice league?

yeah, i didn't really like the way that the kid did such a fast change in his attitude going so far as to not care about the lives of his own parents. There is justification for this indicated in the story, but mostly i thought it went too fast.

If it lead to more original super-villains i suppose i could get on board but I really didn't think this movie was all that great.

I actually thought the fast pace made it more enjoyable. Perhaps I'm just sick of the super long and plodding DC movies.

Check this out. The screen at the end contians a guy I thought was evil flash. It turns out it is The Crimson Bolt from Gunn's Super.

Oooh I didn’t actually see that, interesting g then there’s sure to be a little universe building at play! Have you seen the series The boys?

Oh yeah. I loved The Boys! It was much better than this movie but it is not a fair fight. The Boys is the best thing I have seen since season one of Mr. Robot.
