It's been many days and many posts since I've been out on a tour around the city to visit neighborhoods and enjoy them. So, today I got up, grabbed my bike, I packed my mochi with a bottle of ice water and a delicious and powerful sandwich and I went out. Before getting on the bike I already knew where I wanted to go, the destination was a neighborhood to remember where I lived. Parque Chas! Neighborhood low houses, neighborhood club where every weekend there is soccer and the neighborhood goes to see how the team is doing in all categories, which is in a glass box and its four walls that protect it are, Av Beiro; Av Constituyentes; La Pampa and Av Triunvirato.

This is how the neighborhood welcomes me with a wall in commemoration of one of the greatest idols of our soccer. Walking around the neighborhood I forgot that it has a great peculiarity, it is a neighborhood that has almost no square streets. 99% of its streets are curved like rings. So if you ever have to go around there and you decide to go into the neighborhood without knowing it with the intention of cutting your way, you lost! For sure you will end up getting lost and you will have to ask for help if you come across someone. It is so very, very quiet and peaceful during the day. One of the nicest things about the neighborhood are the large groves of trees and the beautiful plants that the neighbors take such good care of. There is an unspoken agreement within the neighborhood where everyone takes care of their sidewalks and their plants and trees are very well cared for. If you live there, you know your neighbor on the block and you probably talk to them or exchange words at some point during the week. When I was a kid I had friends here and I remember playing on the sidewalk and my friends would start talking and playing with neighbors on the block, and it's not because we were from a different era, it still happens today.

These two are two large buildings that take care of one of the bordering streets where the neighborhood ends or begins and there, although there are buildings, you can see the care for the trees.

After a walk around to think about what plazas I had nearby to go rest for a while and put my feet on the grass for a while. I went to the 5 corners to shop at the kiosk located there and was surprised by a woman who was playing and singing Tango and people from the neighborhood started to gather to listen to her. This is very common in the neighborhood and even more so in these 5 corners where the murga comes in the summer to play and start every weekend of comparsa here. Also when championships are won everyone goes to celebrate on the club's field and then go to the 5 corners to shoot fireworks and sing until late at the fountain.

Hacía muchos días y muchos posteos también que no salía de recorrida por la ciudad para visitar barrios recorrerlos y además podes disfrutar de ellos. Por eso, hoy me levanté, agarré la bici, me arme la mochi con una botella de agua helada y un sanguche rico bien potente y salí. Antes de subirme a la bici ya sabía para dónde quería ir, el destino era un barrio para recordar a donde yo viví . Parque Chas! Barrio casas bajas, barrio de club en donde todos los fines de semana hay fútbol y el barrio va a ver cómo le va al equipo en todas las categorías, que está en una caja de cristal y sus cuatro paredes que lo protegen son, Av. Beiro; Av. Constituyentes; La Pampa y Av. Triunvirato.
Así me recibe el Barrio con una pared en conmemoración a uno de los ídolos máximos de nuestro Fútbol. Dando una vuelta por el barrio me olvidé de que tiene una gran particularidad, es un barrio que no tiene prácticamente calles en escuadra. El 99% de sus calles son curvas como en anillos. Asique si alguna vez tenes que ir por ahí cerca y decidiste meterte al barrio sin conocer con la intención de cortar camino, ¡perdiste! De seguro te vas a terminar perdiendo y vas a tener que pedir ayuda si es que te cruzas con alguien. Es tan tan tan barrio que en el día hay mucha tranquilidad y silencio. Una de las cosas más lindas que tiene el barrio son sus grandes arboledas y las plantas tan bellas que cuidan tanto los vecinos. Hay como un acuerdo tácito dentro del barrio en donde todos cuidan de su vereda y sus plantas y árboles los tienen muy bien cuidados. Si vivís ahí a tu vecino de la cuadra lo conoces y probablemente te quedas hablando o cruzas palabras en algún momento de la semana. Cuando yo era pequeño tenía amigos acá y recuerdo estar jugando en la vereda y mis amigos ponerse a hablar y a jugar también con vecinos de la cuadra, y no es porque éramos de otra época hoy sigue pasando.
Estas dos son dos edificios grandes que cuidan una de las calles limítrofes en donde termina o empieza el barrio y ahí aunque están los edificios, ya se nota el cuidado por los arboles
Después de dar una vuelta para pensar a qué plazas tenía cerca para ir a descansar un rato y poner los pies en el pasto un rato. Me fui a las 5 esquinas para comprar en el kiosco que se encuentra ahí y me sorprendí por una mujer que estaba tocando y cantando Tango y la gente del barrio se empezó a juntar para escucharla. Esto es muy común en el barrio más aún en estas 5 esquinas en donde vienen en verano la murga a tocar y empezar cada fin de semana de comparsa aca. También cuando se ganan campeonatos todos van a festejar en la cancha del club y después van a las 5 esquinas a tirar fuegos artificiales y cantar hasta tarde en la fuente.
