The artist Heinrich Vogler

Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you are able to expand your knowledge a little! In this post I would like to go into the history of art and hope you had and hope you can learn new things.

Here is a work of art by the diverse artist Heinrich Vogler (1872 - 1942) who, in addition to his passion for painting, was also active as an author, architect, designer and educator and this work is an etching and a woman be seen which is surrounded by seven ravens. Already in his young years, he developed a huge interest in art and decided to attend an art academy, which he should interrupt early because he had decided to travel and in the coming years he traveled across Europe where he made contacts with other artists and later he continued his studies. He was particularly enthusiastic about the technique of etchings and he soon visited his first exhibitions where his art was quickly appreciated and he decided to create his first illustrations for books and magazines and quickly made a name for himself as an artist and also stand up for the protection of culture and was a member of various associations who had specialized in the care of the homeland. His art was highly praised and he was considered extremely eager to experiment and liked to try out new stylistic devices and later, he also founded his own workshop together with his brother in which he designed furniture and later he made his first designs for different architectures and in the coming years he should experience some crises that pushed him strongly to the ground and with the beginning of the war he went to the military to provide a service. In the coming years, he rebelled more and more against certain ideals and was strongly oppressed and persecuted and later he traveled a few times to the Soviet Union where he would later move completely to live there. He was also politically active during his life and was also considered a founding member of an artist group and was a lot committed to certain topics at the political level.
