Welcome to Steemit.

If you are not aware steemtools.com has a lot of the information you brought up at steemd, steemdb, and asksteem.com.

I hope you put out authentic content rather than the fluff that makes it to the trending page.

I'd most like to have a way to separate the mediocre from the exceptional, everybody loves a winner, but those towards the bottom of the middle are the ones I would like to see highlighted and improved.

Haha, I see you're concerned for the quality of the site :D
Professionally I develop probabilistic algorithms for augmented reality and I'd like to talk about formal logic here. I made two lengthy entries starting off the topic, but it seems like there are more web developer kind of programmers here than mathematicians. I'll see what I can do or which content I can bring to the table fits.

If you could crunch the numbers that tells me how many man hours went into supplying all the goods and services in the last 12 months so that I could figure out what each person's share of that came to, we could set about accounting for things in things other than money.

If all the work in the world was divided evenly among the able we could escape the 40-40-40 trap.
