Interesting, very thought provoking, this topic comes up in meaningful conversations with a special few in our life, but never seen it written down in black and white.
When you talk about escapism towards an island, alot comes to ones mind, the views, the smell, the sun, the breeze. What comes to my mind is the utter and ever so charming 'calm' of that whole scene. I drink at times to enjoy with friends, other times I drink to numb my mind enough to mimic the calmness of that island. Its not a bad thing, just means that you have this place you want to reach if not now then maybe sometime in life, if you reach it now it will be ''escapism'' if you reach it later it will be an '' accomplishment''. We all seek an island. Some of us find our own, and some come across their islands together. Happy ever afters?
