Racism in the Context of Immigration

in #racism18 days ago (edited)

As an American it's very hard to be racist because,

Africans were enslaved and their children were enslaved and brought here against their will.

Hispanic people are largely native American in DNA, so when we close the border, we are kind of like, na, you can't come back in, we took this from you.

On the other hand, the world today was built by people mostly alive today, and I'm not sure historical claims are good not to mention they aren't practical at all, beyond amnesty.

As a European, it makes a bit more sense, but I still think they are missing out by not having much immigration from the lower classes and stuff. I feel like America has such an interesting culture because it's a mix of all the worlds cultures, yet also uniquely American, and also uniquely British in a way, as it was mostly the dominant culture and spirit of the people here for so long.
