Silver and Gold - The Classic Buffalo Silver Round

It is... "considered one of the most excellent coin designs in history. Created by James Earle Fraser in 1913, the buffalo nickel featured an unspecified Native American chief on the obverse and a buffalo on the reverse" ( quote link ).

Back in my local coin shop again. I go rarely but enough to consider myself a "regular."

Laws changed recently in my state--precious metals no longer have tax added on sale. Good news.

...and we return to a classic. It's one of my favorite designs.

I am guessing that this is a Silvertowne Mint, because it is more simplified than other versions I have seen, but I cannot say for sure.

Regardless, well done, James Earle Fraser.

(I am not a financial advisor, and this is not financial advice.)

Be well.

I believe the Day will Come, when One Ounce of Silver will get me Two Ounces of Gold...

1913, a very distant year without a doubt, the design is great, and I also liked the fact of not paying taxes, good news without a doubt
