I have had people ask me why I blog on steemit. I tell it is to meet and become somewhat friends with people. I may never meet them personally but it is good to just interact with people that may not have the knowledge I have and I can help them or not let them make the same mistakes I have made. I have made my friends from other social media platforms, I one I talk to all the time on the phone and in person. Some have asked you have 170 or so followers and only get 7 or 8 votes on your posts, why is that? I do not know . maybe it was because they did not find it informative or entertaining. I enjoy putting what I do in something that my kids and grandkids can see and have when I am no longer on this earth or reminders to me of what it was like before I got this or that done. It is about the journey and what I personally learned and what someone else can learn from it. Showing someone something new and maybe opening their mind to a whole new or different idea.
