The real rise hasn't even started yet!

I tend to agree...wondering how much of Reddit's 4+ Billion it could reach.

If I own STEEM POWER only, how am I benefiting from the rise in price of steem?

Steem Power (a vote) is worth more the higher the price of STEEM. So when the STEEM price is higher you are earning more from the Steem Power behind the votes for your post(s).

Steem power is donominated in steem. You get more steem by holding steem power and when you power down you get steem.

I want to earn!

then find really good content and contacts for us over at the /beyondbitcoin section :)

Hi @fuzzyvest, apologies for the unrelated comment on a very old post, but I was not sure how else to contact you.

I am running a project called the Steemit Success Initiative, which is a project that aims to grow and develop Steemit as a platform. I am currently looking for support for the project in any way possible, and I would appreciate if you could check it out on my page, or alternatively I could send you a pitch deck in Discord or Steemit Chat. Thanks!

So say I were to generate $100 of steem today from posting... on July 4th when that gets distributed. Will I receive the amount of steem that is = to $100 today or will it be the amount that is worth $100 on July 4th?

A post that is worth 100$ now will be worth considerably less on July 4th, because new content that comes up until then will dilute the payouts.
You'll only know what you receive when it's in your wallet.

How do you get money with votes? or is it something else? Also its a shame that most solid, original content is skimmed over & reposts other people / corporation's content makes money.

When you vote, you get a part of the earnings for that post. The more votes come after you, the higher your reward.

best social network ever id say
