Thanks for your efforts in reviving this. I have one suggestion though. Having to scroll through this with only 10 people visible at a time is kinda annoying.
It depends on your resolution, on my screen, it is 18 at a time. I went ahead and made it a little larger, I didn't want it to clip the bottom, and the rest of the navigation isn't finished.

It might be because @postpromoter has @yabapmatt set as voting proxy and recovery account. And I'm guessing that it's owned by @yabapmatt due him being the recovery account for this account.

I don't think so either. The search string probably include more parameters than just the account name.

Why stop at 1,000? Can we go to around 3,000 so we can see all the dolphins too?
The original Steem Whales site only supported 200, and the more I add the slower it gets.
Okay, I am not in the top 1,000 yet... Will need to work harder on 2019!

With that said, i truely believe that the power of the whales, is one of the huge downsides to steem as a platform ..
It’s all who knows/pays who for the best upvote/power/influence
Furthermore i love the platform ...

I would prefer that influence is equally shared
Then people would just make tons of accounts, and bam more influence.
Then they also need tons of mobile phone numbers (or you don’t need anyone anymore nowadays?)

I enjoy your posts and am glad I've been following you on Steemit for some time now. I think the idea of Steemwhales was one that first had me a little intimidated when I joined the site over a year ago. I am curious and intrigued to see what Steemwhales2.0 will become. I think I am going to be here for a while to find out just what comes of this revamp.

Finally! thanks for doing this... By the way, when I choose other variables other than SP, it seems the 'rank' is still based on SP.... Although it's not bad to keep this SP rank, users might need the new rank under this new variable ... hope you get what I mean... ^_^ my 2 cents...

The rank is always based on SP. You can just sort by different columns. I will look into changing that.

steem is pretty spread out ok? bitcoin is super stratified at the top, like 6 btc whales own majority of bitcoin i think... yeah.. pretyty much yes...
like bitcoin wallets alone show you how the exchanges first of all tend to own the most btc but i dunno i thinkthers a few big wallets out der and btc gpo upp up
