It is wonderful what you have done to ensure your friends work doesn't get stolen, however there are some that would turn around and flag every post of yours to retaliate. In the future you might try to get a hold of @steemcleaners so that you don't put your own content and reputation at risk. We for sure should be making sure all content shared is real and from the user, and I'm so happy you are looking out. I also had to do this just last week. The sad part is I was trying to get a real life friend on steemit and one night i saw some of his work. I got excited thinking he had checked it out and signed up, but sadly somebody stole his work off the internet and had already made 3-4 sbd on it.

Thank you for your heads up, I did report to steem cleaners I just wanted to do more you know. We all work so hard and have such amazing friends I hate to se anyone get hurt.

No problem at all, i just wanted to let you know, there is a friend of a friend that had to remake his profile so that he wouldn't get flagged out of spite again. It's sad that there are people out there only looking to ruin the esteem of steem. I'm grateful for you!

Well that's a shitty thing to do to someone...not unexpected, unfortunately.
Hopefully your friend got on Steem, so at least in the future, his credit can be his alone.
sadly i think it had a negative impact of his impression of steemit. sucks, he is a first class photographer and his wife is an epic gardener. So much they have to offer that some other social media site will get paid for.
