It's time to kick my parenting curation into high gear!
As some of you may know, I recently started the #steemdads and #steemmoms tags to help bring parents together to chat and reward each other for inspring stories about the hardest job on the planet. We've had a good start, and I feel it's time I get real serious about building a movement around parents, as one doesn't seem to exist within steemit yet.
There are "trail" accounts to curate everything from art to zappl, and everything in between, except parenting... I've spoken with the people who run the trail accounts, explaining my desire to manage an account to support parents, but I suppose they're just not that interested, so it's time I take this upon myself.
Here's how you can help...
I have created the @steemparents account to help support great parents on our beautiful platform, and we could use some help getting started.
Check out the @steemparents Introduction Post and show parents some love by upvoting, following, and/or resteeming!
If you've got even an extra 0.1 STEEM or SBD, it will go toward a very good cause, and help parents get some much deserved support.
If you want to donate with any other cryptocurrency, comment below, and I'll reply with a deposit address.

I recommend you use steemconnect. It is easier and you remain in control of the account. All you need is enough steem to open it. There is a post here for more info ( not my post) https://steemit.com/news/@timcliff/new-tool-from-busy-org-create-new-steem-blockchain-accounts-with-steemconnect
Edit: you only need 6 steem to open account. I am transfering 6 steem so you can open it through steemconnect and start the project for parents. I will help as much as I can 👍

Thanks for doing this @thatsweeneyguy, seems like you've got donations covered for the account creation. What else do you need at this point?
I'll be requesting donations to start building the steempower of the account, whether in the form of direct donations to @steemparents, delegated SP, or I can accept donations of any cryptocurrency, and convert it over to SP on the new account.
More than that though, I'll be starting a campaign to gain followers, and resteems are crucial to that end.
