The first half of 2017 is almost over, WOW that went by fast. I hope all you Steemsters have had an excellent first half of the year so far!
I joined this community about 10 days ago and have to say I'm pretty floored at how awesome this place is. The thing that I currently love most about being here is meeting new people, learning about them and getting to interact with the community through comments/replies.

My minimum goal is stay alive till 2018 lol

I've never been big on "new year resolutions" as i tend to just go with the flow and take action to improve self as i see the opportunities arise.
That being said im astounded how quickly this year has flown. I'm not a big fan of the massive commercial holidays that are coming up though - Christmas and all that bs will be here before you know it. As i said i don't like them bevause they re too effin commercialized. Im not a Christian either. I just feel its forced gatherings at this point and i pretty much despise it.
Anyway on a more positive note, so far this year has been great in terms of savings and becoming more financially secure. I plan to continue improving through the year. My "work " here on steemit is a joy and and an awesome long term endeavour. I've been on here about as long as you have, i think this makes two weeks today. Love this place

Honestly, my goal here is twofold - post my photos (and get comments on them, because I really enjoy a good discussion) and make some cash for my hobbies.
