I see all these wonderful artists and musicians doing their thing, and I break out my paints and my guitars eager to throw down alongside em. But then I'm like...
They are all sooooo good, and I just end up covered in paint caterwauling to the four winds with an out of tune guitar for accompaniment.
But i ain't stopping.
Steemit got me so fired up. I'ma tune that old machine up, and wail. I'ma jine up, as the oldsters say. I'm dusting off my poem books, I'm firing up my pipes, I'm so jazzed up with steem that every. single. thing is a possible Steemit post. I blew the dust off my paint cans, I'm planning to go steemitbanksy in this bitch. I dug my dslr out of the closet. I'm bout to bust out a SteemitEraserhead. I find my parchment and quill, I'm fixin to pen the steemit book of Revelations in long hand.
I'm not going to let my art grow stale EVER again. I'm going to howl at the moon and convert it to steem. I promise you now, I'll never let my guitars gather cobwebs again. I'ma get better. With every post. I'mma do better. I'm gonna start fires, and tell stories with the ashes. I'm gonna live like my art matters, and because of Steemit, that will finally be true.
So thanks. Thanks for existing here in this space. You've all got me so goddamned hyped. Keep doing you. You've inspired me to do me again.

agreed! I just dumped a bunch of my older stuff on here, and am going to be uploading my newer (totally different stuff soon). Its so awesome to be a part of such a great community (even though its only been a day or two for me) haha FOLLOWED
