I've had a lot of people talking about the different aspects of Steem island as an investment. Although I specified how the corporate structure will work, this is not about investment in an island. It is about investing in symbol of the strength and ability of the steemit community as well as what our community stands for which among the top at the list is FREEDOM!! ( I could think of many better investments geared towards making money LOL)

With that being said, the idea behind Steem Island is to be a symbol of the Power and Sustainability behind Steemit and Steem. When I say power I am not talking about financial power. I'm talking about the wealth and cohesiveness of us all supporting a common objective - which boils down to FREEDOM on many different levels .

Sure if and when this happens, it will make world news. It will shine the brightest light that has shone on steemit since it's inception. It will be a symbol of what we all believe in. And if in the process it ends up being the good financial investment then that is just a bonus. But the objective behind this project is to show the world the unity and strength behind truly believing in something -steemit!!!

So if you're looking for a monetary investment do not send any steem to this account. It isn't for that. If you want to invest in a symbol of what our community stands for then send over some steem and I'll put your name on the list ( and we may make some money in the process 😊).

P.S. I found some much cheaper islands in Belize. There is one for $199,000, which if you do the math is clearly an achievable goal!
