At the first instances, I am so sure that the princess must have been surprised to see that response coming because she has long think nobody can do without her but I guess she was actually disappointed. With the determination that Jean have because it actually takes a lot of determination to see people going extra mile to see the enterprise been done and this is interesting to see that it is still going even till today. You can see the reason why I actually like the determination spirit that Jean has. Only few people can actually have that and this is what we should all have. The lame devil must have really been determined to fish out the Christian that lives among their midst and ready to destroy it actually which is cool to see.
