Back to the flet bad CNC Plazma Arc Cutter

in #tech2 years ago

For the last few years, I've been working all overall Europe on various CNC machine. From Oxyfeul cutter to Punch/Lasers.From heavy steel construction to feinblechbearbeitung. Strict work target and precise tolerance. The main goal provide a decent income for the family. The second goal or let's call it a hobby 🤣. Corporate espionage, what goes around comes around, collecting knowledge and now trends. As well as getting new skills. Gear heads will always stay gear heads, and what did you know. As I was on my vacation in my home town. Out of the blue I stumble upon a new company/ old company that got restructured. It a shipyard and they started to build small to mid size ships. Any ways a I made a good deal with them. Didn't have to go back to the drawing board. I 15 year of experience I cut steel for tanks, bridge, thermal power plants, BBQs and now for ships.

It like pension time on this for place. No targets, no tolerance, no bosses. Better then the 7 number on the lottery ticket

Goldenes Handwerk, eh?

Being able to make things from raw materials will always feed a man and is one of the most honest incomes possible.
Congrats on what looks like a perfect job.

Thank man,its going well so far.

feinblechbearbeitung is a therm for thin materials from 0.50 to 3 mm alu, Rostfrei, copper.... High polished mirror like, brush polished ect. Some time gold plated but never had the appointment to work with some.

Yeah, I know what Blech is 😅

'Goldenes Handwerk' is just a saying; It means that those who develop a manufacturing skill, like... Feinwerkmechaniker... or smith, you can always make a good living and sleep well.
