Switching Worlds | Bellagio And The Garden

At this point in the trip what casino I was actually at started to sometimes get a bit fuzzy. It was easy to walk into one casino and end up walking out of a completely different one. Other times I was just passing by looking to see if there were any old relics I’d been on the hunt for. Then you had moments like these where I just kept finding some amazing stuff to look at and did not do much gambling in those casinos at all.

Some of these casinos had such insane-looking pool areas I wish they would have been open. Sure, they would have been filled with wild people having a good time when someone like me prefers things to be a bit quieter. It would have, however, been amazing to have taken a walk out there instead of just looking at it through the window.

I found myself in yet another situation of walking down a long hallway. While I’m sure there were signs, I was not paying attention to any of them. What casino I was leaving and what one I was about to enter I had zero care of knowing. It was just amazing sometimes how much attention to detail was put into so many things everywhere you looked.

If it’s, one thing I had to check out it would be the garden display they have at the Bellagio. It’s something they change out a couple of times a year. At the time I went, it was quite the Chinese outdoor garden theme. With a giant golden dragon.

Despite all the people and the noise, it was quite a peaceful part of a casino. If such a thing could even be. Some of the areas like this one felt so welcoming you wanted to jump the rope and just go have a seat.

So many of the trees here were also like giant clouds of fluff. While one would mistake things for all being fake. Much of it seemed to be rather alive. I have no idea how many gardeners a place like this requires just to maintain. It must have been quite a feat just getting the insane number of flowers needed to make this masterpiece of the art of areas to explore.

Anytime I found myself out near this property, if I could make the time, I’d go for a quick exploration of the garden area yet again. Every time I noticed something I had not quite noticed on the last visit to it. It was even hard to go anywhere near this part of the casino without at least walking this area yet again.

As if that was all not breathtaking enough. Another room had a ceiling full of this colorful flower-like glass. It was hard to not want to take hundreds of photos and spend a good half an hour just looking at each one of them.

While there were so many wonderful things to look at. It’s hard to also be in a casino and at least not go gambling a little bit. After a fair bit of sightseeing, I thought I’d check out any slots they had that I’ve yet to play.

That is when I sat down at a Conan slot machine. I ended up getting lucky and landing the 10 free spin bonuses. What was not so lucky was only winning $10 after ten spins. It felt like I did not get to see much of how that bonus was supposed to work.

I then went off to play some other stuff, not having much luck. Along with walking some long hallways and just being lost for a time at what casino I was even in. At one point I went to put a ticket into a machine, and it ended up spitting it out. Turns out despite the casinos being connected you can’t play one casino ticket at another. Even though they are allowed by the same company.

I slowly ended up weaving my way back towards the direction of my hotel. I, however, knew I would not be escaping playing any 007 games I found. I still had no luck on that day finding any.

On another short trip to cash in a couple of tickets I had missed in my wallet, I finally stumbled upon the bank of them in one of the connecting casinos to the Bellagio. I ended up playing a couple of different versions of the slot. I was lucky enough to get the chip re-spin bonus a couple of times on Casino Royal without any bonus features or games.

I was at least winning enough to keep me playing for quite some time. After a while it did end up getting a bit late and not wanting to pay the price to eat at any of the restaurants in a casino, it was time to go back out onto the strip in search of something a bit more affordable but not by much.

Final Thoughts

time wolf gold.jpg

Another game I would have loved to spend hours playing but I was doing so badly was Timer Wolf Gold. Like a lot of slots in Vegas, they were quite tight in the payouts. I was also quite tight on my wallet as I was a bit light on the gambling funds for how long I was going to be in Vegas.

Thankfully there are so many amazing things to see like the gardens, the glass, and outdoor pool areas that one has plenty of things to do in Vegas. That is what made this place so fun. Sure, there was gambling if you wanted it. There were also just lots of things to search out and find when luck was not on your side.
