Today i want to share my weekend experience to everyone here,
i decided to visit my village today after a long while, when i was a child,i use to enjoy my village alot, we go to the stream, go to fetch firewood, something we go for farm work, but the one that really brought out the fun,was going to the stream with our friends, because we will all take our bath in the stream,wash our cloth there,we will be pouring each others water, singing , dancing and cracking jokes.like sometimes our mothers will be sending someone to check if truly we went to the streams, because we use to take a lot of time to have fun at the stream.
I really missed my mum and grandma ,so i say today will not pass me ooo, i packed my bag ,pack everything that was needed for the travel, carry my boys,we left for the village.
On getting to the village, i met my mum and grandma, they were happy to see me after a long period of time, my mum save me and my boys some food .after everything, my mum was like i was even looking for a helping hand here, because she went to the farm yesterday to harvest cassava to make garri, she peel and wash the cassava, took it to the mill for grinding, after grinding she transfer the pulp into the bag,and the bag was heavy weight for 24hours. It was brought home from the mill for frying.
After the entertainment ,i had to help her seive out the powder from the lump for frying

Helping grandma to cut firewood so that she can make her soup,she like cooking her soup alone, but you can only help her to prepare things for the soup😅😅

Me cutting afang leave from the steam ,lol, i so much love afang soup. My boy was really disturbing, like first time visiting the village, he wasn't use to the environment, i had no choice than to put him on my back.
You know i can't come to my village and go back empty hand , my mum pack alot of goodies for me.i was so happy to receive it from her, i also went with my own goodies.
My weekend was really fun.
