I have noticed some strange behavior from the blockchain with regards to rewards. This is the story of one such event. There have been many more.
I would like to stress the point, that this is not about the loss of 0.something Steem. It is about protecting the integrity, viability and value of Steem and the Steemit platform as a whole.
The short story:
As you can verify for yourselves, @kiwiwsteem voted 100% for the post 18 seconds before @joe.public
I voted 100% for this post from my @joe.public account and was the second voter according to the screenshot.

Why is this post downvoted by @abusereports and @berniesanders?
There seems like there should be some dispute-resolution-mechanism to mitigate downvote abuse/bullying.
It would make sense that if you MUTE/BLOCK someone, they shouldn't be able to upvote or downvote or even view your content or comments at all.

Balance is everything. I believe that your view has good points.
That is very strange man. It certainly does appear sinister. I would think that you should have had a gain, even if it was a small reward from curating that post.
There is a gentleman by the name of @valued-customer, and even though we have not always seen eye to eye on every single thing. Which of course I am sure there are no two people who agree on everything.. I must admit I value his opinion. I wonder if he might be able to help you out with the math side of things. He is extremely intelligent. I believe he works in the science field.
Please continue to keep us posted @KiwiSteem on any such odd transactions, or lack thereof. I will continue to resteem any concerns/questions you have, in the hopes that just maybe someone will find you a solution/answer that might help figure this out. This post has been resteemed.
You are not alone man. There are people out here who care, and who want this to work. We need to face the problems head on.. that is our only hope at making this work. So you are doing the right thing in trying to seek help in this matter. Please continue to share with us so we can walk through this together.

Yeah I believe I know as well. A similar thing happened to me once before with my RC credits. Had a big disagreement and then was threatened. Next day lost MILLIONS in RC credits in a show of power. Of course this was denied by the party in question. But the blockchain does not lie. I was posting the same amount of comments/posts at the time in question. So it is not as if I had suddenly posted 'more' and by which lost my RC in an authentic way.
We are here with you, and if nothing else we can at least get the word out about what is happening to you. In this way awareness of this problem hopefully will help.. perhaps it falls on helpful eyes.
