We Made Love in the Stars

The world tilted, and thunder struck, as all dimensions began to collapse with each heaving breath that barely escaped the lips.

They say pleasure that borderlines on pain is true to its form.

Him and I were two colliding constellations, and we made love up in the stars, in the midst, pure light came into being, a mere silver globe with a soothing warmth, and each star, each planet and all the galaxies ceased their resolves for eternity as they turned to watch.

Our globe of light was gaining strength, and it slowly encapsulated us in its presence, one tense limb at a time, as we clung, two bodies in tangles and twists, him becoming more me with every thrust, and I him.

With eyes shut I felt the light become heavier and larger as I found the movement change: something at the brink of losing itself inside me.

I quickly understood that it was my soul in slow torment aching to break free and explode.

The silver now was glowing from within us as I heard a shattered voice whispering my name in my ear and I suddenly felt complete, one – just when the light exploded and broke into a thousand stars creating a galaxy only we knew.
