Some of as are either ignorant or have the knowledge about getting to know your health status but we fail to do so. My brother my sister o not joke with health related matters or. If it is not killing you know few years to come it will show you pepper. There are so many people who do not know their health statuses such as Sickling, blood groupings, HIV status, hepatitis B status among others but they feel it's Ok so they keep playing around.
Today I want us to look into HIV/AIDS thus Human Immune Virus and Acquired Immune deficiency Syndrome. This is a virus that is not spreed through sweat, skin to skin contacts, tears, body fluids among others but through blood. If an infected person's blood comes into contact with and uninfected person there can be transmission of the virus. The disease can be acquired through having unprotected sex with an infected person. Don't trust too much. Get you and your partner tested before you enter the game. HIV/AIDS is not written on people's fore heads for you to identify easily it is through testing that you would know. Play safe always and avoid unprotected sex.. Make sure he puts in condom before he enters.

Another thing that most people are ignorant about is cutting of nails from people going round mean in Ghana it's common to see them. They go round with instruments for trimming nails for a fee. That's no problem but the problem is the same instrument is being used on about hundreds of people who purchase their services using unsterilized instruments. HIV is not only transmitted through sex but also some of this activities. This is even deadly the transmission is high unknowingly.
Recently, the Ministry of health has release some statistics on HIV rise in Ghana. The rise is speedy with some individuals not aware of their status. Getting HIV is not a death warrant. There are drugs available to reduce the viral load drastically so get tested and know your status now and together we can reduce the numbers.
