Can dpoll polls be used in research work?
Greetings Steemians!
Dpoll polls are fun as well as they can help us to find our answers. We can also get information about a particular thing or topic and know the opinion of general public about things or topics using dpoll. So, tell me...
Can dpoll polls be used in research work?
- Yes.
- No.
- Partially.
- Can be used with some modifications.
- Something else?

The Steem community certainly is not representative of the population. There is a rather limited set of polls that might have any scientific value.
Certainly, this is the most important reason. Thank you for this valuable insight.

Unfortunately not. The population group reachable with this tool is way too selected. It is not even representative for the Steem-universe (rank 24 at https://steemapps.com with <200 weekly user).
