It's the end of 2021. Some of you are already celebrating 2022.
I baked New Year's Bretzel as always to celebrate 2022. It is a tradition from my partner's family.
This year I made twins as we will bring one to partner's friends to celebrate the upcoming year in a small group.
It was a bit stuffy for a small (but big in Japanese standard) oven. But I'm happy to see smiling Brezels. Every year they have different faces.

毎年恒例の新年のプレッツェルを焼きました。今年は相方のお友達のカップルとこじんまりとお祝いをしようということで、お土産用も入れて二つ焼きました。
ドイツの大きなオーブンでも二つはやっぱりぎゅうぎゅうになってしまい、ちょっと窮屈そうですが、一年の最後にいつも通り笑っている大きなプレッツェルの顔を見て、いいことも大変なこともあったけれど、一応無事一年を終えられてよかったなと思います。
日本ではもう新年を迎えていますね。こちらはあと7時間ほどで2022年です。
2022年がよい一年になりますように！
余談： お昼には子どもとうどんを打って少し早めの年越しうどんを食べました。日独混ぜこぜ、これからお夕飯はピザなので、日独伊・・・😅 グローバル化の時代ですね。
