Trip to the Dunes of Apure in Venezuela / Excursión a las Dunas de Apure en Venezuela [ENG /ESP]

Hello my friends in this great community, I want to share with you this beautiful experience that I made in an audiovisual course, where I had the opportunity to travel to the _**Medanos de la Soledad**_ in southern Apure state, Venezuela, to perform the practices of the course.

Que tal mis amigos de esta gran comunidad, quiero compartir con ustedes esta bonita experiencia que realicé en un curso de audiovisuales, donde tuve la oportunidad de viajar a los Médanos de la Soledad al sur del estado Apure, Venezuela, para realizar las prácticas del curso.

The relief of the state of Apure is completely flat, but as a gift of nature we can enjoy these dunes that stand out in the middle of the vast savannah. These dunes are small elevations of aeolian sand that change place by the intervention of the wind; they are formed as if they were small deserts surrounded by crystalline waters. They extend to the Capanaparo region and are a great tourist attraction. As you can see in the photo, these dunes are crescent shaped.

El relieve del estado Apure es totalmente plano, pero como regalo de la naturaleza podemos disfrutar de estos médanos que sobresalen en medio de la amplia sabana. Estos médanos son pequeñas elevaciones de arena eólica que cambian de lugar por la intervención del viento, están formados como si fueran pequeños desiertos rodeados de aguas cristalinas. Se extienden hasta la región de Capanaparo y son de gran atractivo turístico. Como puedes observar en la foto estas dunas tienen forma de media luna.

The nearest town is Macanilla, but you can also find hotels in San Fernando and Biruaca, almost 2 hours away. It is recommended to bring sunscreen, hat, caps, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, drinks, prepared food and garbage bags. If you prefer, you can enjoy a delicious carne asada in San Juan de Payara, 6 km before reaching the Medanos.

Es de resaltar que no hay ventas de comida en la zona y tampoco dónde hospedarse, la localidad más cercana es la Macanilla, también pueden encontrar hoteles en San Fernando y Biruaca a casi 2 horas de camino. Se recomienda llevar protector solar, sombrero, gorras, gafas, ropa cómoda, bebidas, comida preparada y bolsas para recoger la basura. Si lo prefieres puedes degustar de una rica carne asada en San Juan de Payara, 6 Km antes de llegar a los Médanos.

Without a doubt this was a beautiful experience that I will remember forever, every time I can I like to visit this place, where you can breathe fresh air and it's ideal to share with the family.

Sin duda alguna esta fue una bonita experiencia que recordaré por siempre, cada vez que puedo me gusta visitar este lugar, allí se respira aire puro y es ideal para compartir en familia.
