BAPHOMET BACKPIECE PROJECT

in #art8 years ago

Good Morning steemit,
Yesterday l started a really fun projects back piece based on the pagan God Baphomet.
l took my liberties so l changed a few bits, like the wings that in this case are more bat shaped as they fit better with my customer's body shape.
here's a picture of an early sketch
baphomet.jpg
then after few goes at it l proceed to print it and make the stencil by hand as it was way too big to put it in the stencil maker
 Bap-2.jpg

then positioned the tracing on her back to see how it fits
Baphometmore-1.jpg
transfer the stencil to her back

and then started the tattoo, l just did the first lines for the design not to be erased, after that l will start with the shading
here's a pic of the early stage of the tattoo
thanks for looking and have a great day everyone!

Great adaptation of the art piece for her back! Is it going to be a color piece or black and white?

Hehe, the struggle between artist and client. Either way I look forward to seeing the finished piece :)
