I don't think a human can constantly feel upbeat, positive and energised...Is it possible to do be this way all the time? If it is I haven't learned the knack of it. No matter how earnestly I try, how much effort I apply, I simply cannot always feel upbeat and positive. My attitude flags, fractures at times and I feel sad...Some call this, feeling blue.
What is important at those times, for me at least, is perspective. I seek to understand my feelings, the reasons for it, and how important those feelings really are for me...How valuable.
In doing this simple process I often find a way forward, a path through the story I've attached to the event or situation that left me feeling that way in the first place, and that brings perspective; It doesn't always solve the issue of course, but it reminds me of what truly matters and what will move me closer to the ideal life I seek...My own attitude.
