On Failure - Do Not Avoid it.

Failing could sometimes turn out to be one of the most productive things that could possibly happen. A A lot of person's try so much to avoid failure. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that this is bad, but in a lot of cases, rather than avoiding failure, they end up just delaying it, more like postponing it to a later point in time. If something you are currently working on is going to result in failure, what you should do is to make sure it happens sooner rather than later. With exceptions to few, failing now is going to be less expensive (money, mental stress, time ) than failing later on.

Let's think about it this way, using a relationship. If two persons have been dating and over time come to uniformly discover a particular part where they are just not compatible at all, they could choose tonavoid that part. Although this might extend their relationship timing, but will definitely cause it to fail in the future. Looking at this example, failing in the future becomes more expensive in time, money and opportunity costs, because you might have missed someone with whom you could be very happy.

So rather than ignoring the conflict areas, couples could actually do themselves a lot of good by directly confronting and addressing those parts of themselves in such a way which will either lead to a compromise or would make quite clear that they would not be happy being together in the future.

This same principle applies to virtually every aspect of our life where failure is a definite possibility. Failure would lead to change and with this, you will definitely grow faster by failing more quickly, learning from failure and moving on, perhaps to something else where you could be successful.

Life is too short to try to delay failure.
