Why did my mind instantly choose him? Well, I could talk a lot, but I'll try to keep it simple. Trusting people you do not even know is extremely hard, such as trusting people you even know. Yet, in the STEEM blockchain there are real people, not a bunch of addresses sending spasmodically tokens towards each other. Even if you are willing to do a lot of great things in the platform, if you have no external support either investing or from external users, you won't get far.
@cryptomancer has always believed in the tasks I do for the platform and supported my growth in many ways. This is not only a thank-you-back message, cause we actually talk about a lot of topics in a equal way, and I can say a kind of digital-friendship started. I'm sure that if I'll ever go to Japan I'll stop to say hi!
Being part of the best team in Steem, AKA @buildteam, is easy to see how more users that are both involved in real platform development are needed.

I would like to receive the torch, even though we have practically never spoken or known each other. This would demonstrate that, if desired, the information contained in the blockchain can easily create trust, right @cryptoctopus? ;) (current bearer of the torch)
