It has been a long time due. Whenever I see this liquid Hive on my account, I always wanted to power up. But I was waiting for a long time for doing some trading. I thought Hive price would pump and I can sell some of my liquid hive to get some good results. I guess it is not going to happen anytime soon so I decided to do a powerup today. It has been my dream to reach 10,000 HP. I have been continuously saving whatever I earn from this platform. Many people cash out at the right time but most of the time, I just power up or invest the money on some dapps.
Today it was so tempting for me to power up my account with an additional 500 Hive that I had liquid. I sold my Steem nearly a week back and I was having the money in my Hive-Engine wallet. Today I thought I would move it to my main wallet and power it up. The only thought that I had in my mind was that having it as the liquid is not going to give anything in return but instead if I power up, I will at least make use of the power for voting to grab some curation rewards. By the way, it would also help me reach my goal of 10,000 self-owned Hive power.
By doing this I did not completely powerup all the Hive that I had, instead, I have left a little as a liquid. I have a few tokens in the Steem-Engine wallet and also in my Hive wallet. Later if there is a pump again and if I feel that I would miss the opportunity, I will try to sell the liquid I have and that should enough. These days I have not been pushing myself hard on trading activities. I saw some good opportunity as there is a little price fluctuation between Hive and Steem but I did not want to do anything now and wait for the right time to trade.
This is not financial advice or anything but I personally feel that only good stake holders have a great opportunity here on this platform. Anyone can feel free to disagree if I say that even the efforts of many good content creators go in vain if they don't have a proper set of followers or a whale or dolphin or community support. So, it is better to have a good stake here or at least work towards getting a decent stake over here.

I do feel the same way about myself.
2 years on this platform and barely reaching 600HP.
But @bala41288 is an inspiration to all. He had been writing daily. And thats quite a feat in itself. He deserves that success. And all of it is through regular interaction and community building spirit. I never seen him use a bot to boost his rewards.

Thanks man. It was very had during the beginning and later I made it as a practice man. Initial days I used to never go to bed without writing an article. I don't get demotivated if it ends up in cents. I always considered writing as my hobby and for my discipline. That's what made me push harder. Today I don't go to bed without writing two articles per day. 😉

Once I used to write 4 articles per day when I was contributing for Steem hunt. Those were also golden days. I had a good writing pattern. Today two itself becomes a big thing. Gradually I might increase it to 3 😀

Yes that's a good idea actually. Hive is one of the most undervalued cryptocurrencies. We can have some good hopes on Hive. Let's see how it goes.

I invested here when the price was 5$ per Steem. I watched the price hit 8$. Also out of all those tokens out there, I believe Hive has a decent usecase.

Yes hopefully. That is my target and I hope it happens soon. But recently my rewards on Hive started reducing. I hardly get one or two big votes per week. So it can even be challenging. But ya let's see how it goes. 😀😉
