Why do we like to look in the mirror? What do we want to see in them or whom? Maybe something we don’t notice around us?

Мы не одиноки в своём желании. Деревья как люди. Они тоже любуются отражениями. Их зеркалами служит вода. Сейчас в лесу много воды и совсем нет снега. Это начало января под Санкт-Петербургом (Россия)

We are not alone in our desire. Trees are like people. They also admire reflections. Their mirrors are water. Now there is a lot of water in the forest and no snow at all. This is the beginning of January near St. Petersburg (Russia)

There's not a single shot you have posted today which I don't like, @bambuka 😊
The diagonal gradient from orange to the blue of the sky in the first shot looks best to me, but I also like the other photos with the reflections of the trees in the water which look so unreal somehow and that view from the dark room through the frozen or wet window looks very familiar to me.

BTW I do not like to look into a mirror though 😉

I also do not like to look in the mirror, but sometimes I have to, especially in the morning.
But I like to consider and photograph reflections in water. Glad you liked my photos and thank you very much for the interesting comment
