Whoa! It's been 4 days since my last post.
Time is just flying at the moment. We've been so busy with everything lately it's been hard to focus on writing and catching up with people.
I vaguely remember getting messages on facey these last couple of days..... Discord... I havent cracked open in a while.. I wonder if this is a snap shot of the near future?
What's been going on?!
Well the living room reno still isn't finished. Even though Hubby did pick up more black paint a week ago, it's been sitting on the floor untouched.
But I saw this coming so I got Hubby to put the speakers up so at least we can enjoy the whole experience until were ready to paint again.
Bub's furniture is still on the floor and needs sanding, painting and assembling.
We did however go to the Windsor Gem Show on Saturday since it'll be the last one before bub arrives. I mainly went to see if they had specimens from Australia so I can put together my little packages for my Steem girls, but sadly no aussie specimens.
Sunday we finally went to visit with the grans ~ who were both very excited to be great grandparents, especially Grandma who immediately went on a shopping spree last week when she found out she's expecting a great granddaughter.
In the meantime I've been busy trying to find the right cot set for bub.
There's a few we liked from The Peanut Shell, but there was just something about them. They were cute but it didn't feel right. There were others I liked that were bright and pink but they were too bright.
But we still ended up getting two plush toys that were part of the peanut shell sets lol
Finally I decided to go with a set that was white and light pink with Unicorns (going with the Unicorn theme!) late last night but when I woke up this morning and checked my Baby Bunting (Bunnings for Preggo ladies) cart it said some of my items were no longer available!!
I panicked ~ it took me a week to decide on a cot bedding set, I wasn't keen on hunting for another one! I rang them and they told me it's a new range and they won't be running out any time soon. Regardless, the sale ends this Sunday so we're adding them to our layby list before it goes back to normal price 😁
We've also been trying to figure out our home media centre/network. After days of struggling with the Telstra gateway thing I finally installed Plex last night and now everything is connected.
We have access to our movies and shows on the new TV, the bedroom TV via Telstra TV box, I've got it on my phone and I could probably have it on my tab too. Totally loving Plex right now.
That's more or less the last 4 days for me, plus more house and garden stuff ~ nothing super exciting going on over here really.
I could do with a nap though. Bub's very active these days, especially at night and sleep is a bit of a luxury recently.
