A famous playwright once wrote the words, "with mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come," which translates, to me at least, that one's life should be filled with happiness, enjoyment, a good nature and laughter until the end. I can't ask William Shakespeare if that's what he truly meant and he can't correct me so I'll run with it.
There's health benefits to laughter, or so I'm told, and I think anyone who has laughed with abandon and without constraint might agree; it simply feels good and I believe there is not enough laughter in the world right now and that the people of the world actually need a little healing.

The most important person in my life makes me laugh all the time in a lot of little ways, some big ones also and sometimes in the most inappropriate ways and places, but it's that sense of humor that attracted me in the first place and a life full of laughter feels right to me, like I'm spending life well and with the right person.
If the world, the people of the world, had more laughter and joy, it wouldn't look the same as it does today, it would look better and be better, and I believe each and everyone of us have a responsibility to bring that joy, happiness, humor and laughter to every day we live and to as many people as possible.
Hear! Hear!
'We have no more right to consume happiness without producing it than to consume wealth without producing it.'
George Bernard Shaw
That's a lovely phrase and so very true.

It is so awesome you are with someone who makes you laugh alot. I think that is one of the reasons my marrieage has lasted. We make each other laugh with our sillyness. Yes, this seriously f'd up world needs more laughter, I agree.
My guy knows when to be serious, and I guess to most who don't know him well he seems very serious, but he's a funny guy in so many ways and I always seem to be laughing...or shaking my head and something he's done wondering what may come next. I'm so happy to be the one who sees the real, unreserved and true person, not the one he usually shows most people.

They also say that laughter is the best exercise, or one of the best. The reality is that laughter has a high and good vibration and it spreads. You are right there is too little laughter in the world today, how different it would be with more laughter.
It's a beautiful song, I know it, I love it!
Thanks Becca.💗
I like to exercise in other ways but I think laughter can certainly add a zest to life and is a form of medicine.

I think you are right. 💗
A few minutes of laughter a day heals the soul 🙂
It certainly has that healing effect, or at least helps the body heal better.
