Being a new dad, you have to now worry about a multitude of new things, like paying for college, feeding someone else, and getting a dad body.....
Some say father hood can make you soft, not just physically but emotionally.
Today I found some pigeons in my attic. I was a nice guy and gave them the day to get out of there. Normally I would have just disposed of them and moved on in life. 
But when I got back one of them was still there. I again let it have some space to move on. But it didn't, so I had to bring myself to get rid of it. Again, normally would not be bothered but I was today. Then I realized what was bothering me. I watched a nature film on how some birds mate for life, I guess getting rid of the one was what made me sad. Knowing that the other one would be alone. So next time I will make sure to get both.

For me it's the opposite, i have more responsibilities and family to protect , and i work out more so i can be around longer

Yeah you are right...... Being a dad gives you consciousness for responsibilities to certain level. When we were younger what matters is being cute and having fun. We get angry about little things and we never put other people's problems first... But as a dad , your must be subjected by nature to love your wife,in-laws,children and neighbors ( of course knowing they also belong to a family that love them as you love yours). This responsibilities controls your actions,your thought,your dress mode and you in general. Being a dad is really wonderful

That's sad. You can't have birds living in the attic tough. They can really make a mess out of the place. How did they get in? Were you able to close it all up?
Yes being a dad definitely makes you soft... things are different now .... you have someone looking up to you ... and now you feel you have some certain responsibilities to take care of so yes being a dad makes you soft ... now you have to tread carefully....think before you act ..... all these definitely makes one become soft !!!! It's cool though !!!
Ya, I can do with the emotional soft side, buy I hope my body stands up a little longer.
For me I find it’s the decisions I make for myself that have changed. In those moments where I might have made a selfish choice I stop and reconsider. There is more than just me at stake now.
Ya, it is so weird too, all this time I kinda do what I want. Now I have to stop and take care of something else. This was the main reason I never got a pet, that and the poop in my back yard.

We normally think of the pigeon as being an unwelcome guest in our towns and cities, but most of us are unaware that racing pigeons can be worth huge sums of money. One racing pigeon recently sold for a staggering $132,517.00! so my friend you can start giving it some traning everyday

Is it bad, to be a bit soft and think about your loved ones? Now you have someone to love, to care of... Now you are not just a man, you are example of behavior. And the moment you make a choice, feed this pigeon or give him a kick in the ass, be sure that your baby will copy your actions. Because you are a hero for him... always!
