Hola a todos! Me complace participar en el reto de mi amiga @irenenavarroart donde nos invita a compartir diariamente durante la víspera de Halloween un proyecto de costura. Para esta oportunidad me gustaría elaborar un móvil de figuritas country. Presentaré uno diario y al final de la semana tendré el móvil listo.
Para hoy les quiero presentar: la Bruja, la ropa y la escoba.
Hello everyone! I am pleased to participate in the challenge of my friend @irenenavarroart where she invites us to share a sewing project daily during Halloween. For this opportunity I would like to make a country figurine mobile. I will submit one daily and by the end of the week I will have the mobile ready.
For today I want to present: The witch, the clothes and the broom
Para hacer esta bruja utilicé el sombrero y los zapatos de Día #4 tela de color beige para hacer la cara y las manos, tela de color negro para hacer su cuerpo y tela blonda de colores oscuros para hacer la falda.
To make this witch I used the hat and shoes from Day #4 beige fabric to make the face and hands, black fabric to make her body and dark colored blonde fabric to make the skirt.
Confieso que nunca me gustó hacer moldes, siempre he hecho las cosas a mano libre. Así que para hacer la cara hice un pequeño circulo que sería la nariz horrible de mi bruja.
Luego la pegué en un ovalo de tela color beige y lo rellené para formar la fea cara.
I confess that I never liked to make molds, I have always done things freehand. So to make the face I made a small circle that would be the ugly nose of my witch.
Then I glued it onto an oval of beige fabric and filled it in to form the ugly face.
Luego uní unas pequeñas mostacillas negras a los lados de la nariz, para formar los ojos. Y con hilo negro hice las clásicas verrugas en la nariz y quijada de la bruja.
Then I attached some small black beads to the sides of the nose, to form the eyes. And with black thread I made the classic warts on the nose and jaw of the witch.
Corté 2 rectángulos para el cuerpo, los uní y rellené para luego pegarlo a la cabeza.
I cut 2 rectangles for the body, joined them together and stuffed them and then glued them to the head.
Hice unas bolita con tela beige para las manos y unas tiras negras para los brazos. Puse alambres para poder darle forma a los brazos y los pegué al cuerpo.
I made beige fabric balls for the hands and black strips for the arms. I put wires to shape the arms and glued them to the body.
I glued the socks and shoes from day 4 to the body.
Pegué las medias y los zapatos del día 4 al cuerpo.
Con lana color morado hice el pelo y lo cosí a la cabeza.
With purple wool I made the hair and sewed it to the head.

Luego uní el sombrero.
Then I attached the hat.
Hice con un trozo de blonda una falda. Y con foamy escarchado hice una pequeña calabaza para adornar la ropa de la bruja.
I made with a piece of lace a skirt. And with frosted foamy I made a small pumpkin to decorate the witch's clothes.
Luego que tenia mi horrible pero adorable bruja lista, hice su escoba. Para eso utilicé un palito de brocheta y tiras de guano secas que es con lo que hacen las escobas.
After I had my horrible but adorable witch ready, I made her broom. For that I used a skewer stick and strips of dried guano, which is what brooms are made of.
Doblé las tiras de guano y con ayuda de la aguja las cosí para formar la escoba.
And that's how I ended up joining day 5 and 6 of the Halloweek Needle Challenge to be able to share the creation of the center of my Halloween mobile that I will present on day 7 of this challenge. I hope you like it.
