Over the last few weeks there has been a LOT of moving pieces and things to stay caught up with. I sat down with my friend Rice Crypto to have a little Fireside Chat to talk about our thoughts on everything that has been happening recently - especially the recent Hive hardfork.

I think it was always going to end in a fork the moment he purchased steemit and it was a project like any other with loads of mistakes and learnings from it but now we have two opportunities to take the concept forward and see which one gains traction or will they continue to feed off one another as other forks have in the past.
Who knows is JS will even hold on to steem int he future and not try to offload it and focus on tron as crypto takes a battering. Yes he has access to loads of VC funding in the East that no one talks about but okay, we'll see where it goes.
I wonder if now that his got control his actually going to start doing something with his so called private property he fought so hard for, going to be interesting, I think his ego could be a great asset, he wouldn't want to be 1 up'd by a bunch of misfits who forked so I hope he throws some cash at it.
