I'm not always like to write wall of text, despite my shortest blog is still covering couple of hundreds words. Home minister said due to my bad command in English, that result me in using more words to deliver a message. Hence, my blog has always been very wordy, but has only limited amount of "meat".
Due to the recent surge in "numbers" , despite the country management didn't use extra measure to "encourage" their pupils to stay home, but we can really see and feel it, a lot less people going out and about. We're also same, sitting lazily at the sofa watching TV show.
Just when we thought we're smart, thinking everybody will be stuck home. Why not take this opportunity go out to some of the well known food court that is too busy during normal days. And by the time we reached there, I can only say great minds think alike 😂
I know this restaurant has been here for couple of years, but I'm only beginning to explore them after the "situation" engulfed 2 years ago. Since we're all stay home making babies, we do order delivery. And from there we found out food over here is actually pretty affordable, and best of all they taste better than most of the modern restaurant.
I got myself a bowl of prawn noodle. This is famous for the Penang style spicy noodle. I can't say it's 100% the same as Penang, it's probably 80%. I am sure 10% of them is due to lack of fermented prawn paste(trust me, that stinky stuff wil actually make your noodle taste better). What about the other 10%? I guess sometimes placebo play an important role. One just can't have Penang prawn noodle when out of Penang.
Home minister got herself a bowl of pork paste noodle. The Chinese style pork paste noodle came with few slices of Chinese version of pig liver sausage. According to her, it's pretty good. Missing one ingredient though, the pork lard.
To wash down all those crazily tasty stuff, I got myself a cup of iced coffee. Can't say it's nice, but it does have the kind of old taste to it. Burnt, fruity.

That's part of the tradition. Coffee bean roast at super high heat, before the core start to cook, the outter later already burnt.
It's nice to sit down and watch a movie, the confinement is not good, for example I always work from home, the moments that I can go out, I try to make the most of them.

Well I think your posts have plenty of meat in them, and more often than not literal and figurative meat. The minister sounds like a sage critic of content, would sure love to see a paragraph written by the home minister some day. I know she's not a Hiver, but it would sure be entertaining if you made her contribute some text to a post some day. To be able to handle you, I'm sure she has a good sense of humor too.
She is a hiver, but a very lazy one and the account left dormant 🤣
On the contrary, she's way more serious than I am. You just can't have more than 1 numbnuts in the same household 🤣
