Para mí es un orgullo presentarme nuevamente en esta comunidad Holos&Lotus con este concurso que me parece maravilloso, porque hablar de la Navidad nos llena de alegría, aunque para muchos la Navidad es sinónimo de tristeza porque nos hace recordar a ese ser querido que está ausente, que ya no compartirá con nosotros físicamente, aquí expreso lo que solía hacer en Navidad en años anteriores aunque aún conservo un poco de esas tradiciones que en algún momento fueron muy especiales para mí porque compartía con mi familia y eso nos llenaba de mucho amor y bienestar.
For me it is a pride to present myself again in this community Holos&Lotus with this contest that I find wonderful, because talking about Christmas fills us with joy, although for many people Christmas is synonymous of sadness because it makes us remember that loved one who is absent, who will no longer share with us physically, here I express what I used to do at Christmas in previous years although I still keep a little of those traditions that at one time were very special to me because I shared with my family and that filled us with much love and welfare.
La Navidad tiene mucho significado para muchos, es una época de reflexión sobre lo que hemos aprendido ya sea bueno o malo y también significa compartir con nuestra familia y seres queridos, ya que esto nos llena de felicidad, amor y paz, la Navidad nos hace acercarnos a nuestras familias y también es una época de perdón y reconciliación.
Christmas has a lot of meaning for many, it is a time of reflection on what we have learned whether good or bad and it also means sharing with our family and loved ones, as this fills us with happiness, love and peace, Christmas makes us get closer to our families and it is also a time of forgiveness and reconciliation.
La navidad también es un tiempo para acercarnos a Jesús ya que celebramos su nacimiento, para ello cantamos aguinaldos, villancicos, celebramos con una cena familiar, regalos, abrazos, en navidad estamos ocupados con el arreglo del árbol de navidad, preparando la cena, comprando regalos para los niños, arreglando la casa, comprando ropa nueva, comprando el regalo del amigo secreto. La Navidad es la mejor época del año y por eso debemos vivirla al máximo.
Christmas is also a time to get closer to Jesus as we celebrate his birth, for this we sing aguinaldos, Christmas carols, we celebrate with a family dinner, gifts, hugs, at Christmas time we are busy with the arrangement of the Christmas tree, preparing dinner, buying gifts for the children, arranging the house, buying new clothes, buying the gift of the secret friend. Christmas is the best time of the year and that is why we must live it to the fullest.
Una de las cosas que hacíamos en Navidad era el juego del amigo secreto para mí esto era maravilloso porque siento que comprar un regalo a una persona es porque debes conocerla muy bien y cada vez que tenía que dar un regalo a un miembro de mi familia lo disfrutaba porque empezaba a buscar todos esos detalles de esa persona y me hacía unirme más y quererla más que nunca, tengo un grato recuerdo de estos intercambios cuando me tocaba dar un regalo a mi hijo, fuimos a casa de mi madre para elegir el nombre de la persona y cuando me tocó a mí me emocioné mucho al leer el nombre de mi hijo, cuando volvió a casa me preguntó mami que te tocaba a ti y no sabía qué decir pero de repente le dije que a tu abuelo y se quedó satisfecho con la respuesta, el día del evento que era el 24 de diciembre me tocó a mí empezar el intercambio y él estaba distraído y cuando dije su nombre se emocionó mucho, es algo muy grande que pasa por nuestras cabezas, aquí está una foto de ese momento.
One of the things that we did at Christmas was the secret friend game for me this was wonderful because I feel that buying a gift to a person is because you must know him very well and every time I had to give a gift to a member of my family I enjoyed it because I started to look for all those details of that person and it made me unite more and love him more than ever, I have a fond memory of these exchanges when it was my turn to give a gift to my son, we went to my mother's house to choose the name of the person and when it was my turn I was very excited to read my son's name, When he came back home he asked me mommy who was your turn and I couldn't figure out what to say but suddenly I told him your grandfather and he was satisfied with the answer, the day of the event which was December 24th it was my turn to start the exchange and he was distracted and when I said his name he got so excited, it is something very big that goes through our heads, here is a picture of that moment.
Otra de las cosas que solíamos hacer era pasar el 24 de diciembre en una casa de playa y elegir el color de la ropa que íbamos a usar, esto nos ayudaba a unirnos más como familia y a fortalecer esos lazos de amor entre nosotros, disfrutamos tanto ese momento que creo que debemos seguir con esta tradición, pero vemos que todo ha cambiado ahora la familia tiene menos miembros ya que algunos se han ido físicamente y otros se han ido a vivir fuera del país y también con la situación económica en la que nos encontramos.
Another thing we used to do was to spend the 24th of December in a beach house and choose the color of the clothes we were going to wear, this helped us to unite more as a family and strengthen those bonds of love between us, we enjoyed that moment so much that I think we should continue with this tradition, but we see that everything has changed now the family has less members since some have left physically and others have gone to live outside the country and also with the economic situation in which we find ourselves.
Una de las cosas que también disfrutamos en Navidad es el arreglo del árbol, decorar el árbol de Navidad nos llena de mucha alegría, nos une como familia y nos ayuda a fortalecer los lazos con nuestros seres queridos. Es importante aprovechar todas estas situaciones para crear momentos de intimidad, además es muy divertido porque cada uno cumple diferentes funciones a la hora de decorar el árbol, uno pone el árbol, otro coloca las luces y otros se encargan de colocar los adornos navideños, por eso arreglar el árbol en Navidad es muy beneficioso.
One of the things that we also enjoy at Christmas is the arrangement of the tree, decorating the Christmas tree fills us with much joy, it unites us as a family and helps us to strengthen our ties with our loved ones. It is important to take advantage of all these situations to create moments of intimacy, it is also very fun because each one fulfills different functions at the time of decorating the tree, one puts up the tree, another places the lights and others take care of placing the Christmas ornaments, that is why arranging the tree at Christmas is very beneficial.
Es importante celebrar la navidad en familia ya que a través de estas festividades reina la armonia, el amor entre cada uno de los miembros familiares, aunque muchas veces se va perdiendo algunas tradicionales con el correr del tiempo.
