Hi @edkarnie ,I agree with you, the BTC is the best investment, I am keeping this cryptocurrency until the ideal time to sell and then buy again, obviously according to the price.

I don't know whether this might be a correct statement or wrong, but I think with SCOT - now STEEM gets more attention, just imagine when SMT comes how things might change!
Anyway it's a good strategical call, coz I also feel BTC will move to another ATH!

thank you theguruasia, yes Steem seems to be doing well lately, hopefully they keep improving. When BTC reaches new ATH maybe i will be looking into alts again

Look at the “multiple” upside for BTC for the next 12 months....maybe 10x? ...maybe 20x would be off the charts....my guess is more like 15x in 12 months. EOS or ADA or XRP all have nice upside. ADA @ .10 is a sleeper....easy to see several dollars in 12 months ..$10 would be 100 times. XRP can move very quickly, but timing and upside is a big guess. I am sure there are many others.... (Theta and DGB to name a few). I hope it all works out perfectly for you :-)

Hi @djohan ,I have Cardano and also Neo, I always sell 70 and I leave 30 of these to become BTC, definitely the BTC occupies 60% of my Exodus wallet.

thank you martha75, yes that is my new strategy, so i wouldn't feel so bad if the alt i just sold suddenly jump up. I would keep certain amount in usd, if price jumps and exceed that amount i would sell it for btc

I am thinking many alts are too early at this stage, and Bitcoin has to succeed first and reach new all time highs before altcoins can succeed and being looked at by more investors, and end of 2017 alt season was probably fueled by new investors who missed out on the BTC, ether and litecoin massive gains, including myself. And was sucked into the ICOs selling promises and sometime even pure scams. Oh well, i think of my losses as learning fee.

That's me as well - lessons leaned.

The good news is - this is still in an early stage just like Microsoft - IBM PC AT in 1987 - 1989 IMHO.

I think that BTC will become like Yahoo.

thank you freedomshift, i think expecting huge gains into alt is a wrong thinking, it should be just for hedge just in case it would replace btc, but at the moment there seems to be none anytime soon. And yes we are very early as most people i know still doesn't own any crypto

However, they are not going to move first, so, there might still be some deals for those late-comers - me but we must be careful and selective.

I'm on the same boat as you! These alts are getting wrecked! I sold everything for ETH and BTC. Will get back in at ATH just maybe :D

thank you kevbot, yes selling eos for btc has been a good move so far, as today eos is down under 7 bucks and btc up a lot. Yes after ATH people will feel it is expensive and wanting more return into alts, i think. ETH is good too, it's almost not an alt , and gets mentioned in the news as often as BTC almost
