I am thinking many alts are too early at this stage, and Bitcoin has to succeed first and reach new all time highs before altcoins can succeed and being looked at by more investors, and end of 2017 alt season was probably fueled by new investors who missed out on the BTC, ether and litecoin massive gains, including myself. And was sucked into the ICOs selling promises and sometime even pure scams. Oh well, i think of my losses as learning fee.
That's me as well - lessons leaned.

I think that BTC will become like Yahoo.
thank you freedomshift, i think expecting huge gains into alt is a wrong thinking, it should be just for hedge just in case it would replace btc, but at the moment there seems to be none anytime soon. And yes we are very early as most people i know still doesn't own any crypto
agreed.
However, they are not going to move first, so, there might still be some deals for those late-comers - me but we must be careful and selective.
