On the 1st July 2017 is our national day, but this one is very special because we are celebrating the 150th anniversary of our confederation.
Our beloved country is not just about the moose,
the beaver,
the polar bear,
the mounty,
the maple tree,
and the poutine.
We have a long history of democracy, freedom, human rights, respect for the environment and openness to other cultures. So join us in our celebration. Let the festivities begin.

Hahaha I LOVE THIS! I actually made poutine in celebration since I was feeling homesick :) It's just so darn Canadian! Happy Canada day! I'm so sad to be missing it, especially this year! :(
