I hope that you had a great weekend, mine was fantastic, I had some quality moment with the kids, and I even had time to work, record a bit, do some exercise, and catch up on the blockchain world!

My 5 yrs old son love that tune, now every time is sister is not ok, he start singing "Amy are you ok?"
I really see some brilliance in that child, homeschooling is going ok even if he doesn't listen to us at all, but we checked again the price of normal schools, and it ain't gonna happen, we just don't have enough.
I am trying to stay focused on my task and not letting the lack of money get into my skin, yesterday at the park was seeing some rich kids with their dad on a pricey bicycle while we were on the swing and I just wanted to slap them in the face, I know, that's not right, just boo me!
We can't give the children much, and just going out to the park has become almost a luxury to them. We gotta find more cash so they can have a decent life.
I am born and bred in Versailles, needless to say that my childhood was more than ok, sometimes it breaks my heart not to be able to give them at least what I had when i was young.
I know we will if we keep on working that hard.Sometimes I feel that I should just keep shit for myself, then I can't help it, it's just pouring out of me, one thing for sure I am not ashamed of who we are...

Yo, you need to know that those kids aren’t going to be remembering things like shiny bikes… what they remember, what contributes to the very fiber of who they are going to grow up to be, is the quality time spent with Dad on the swing set. Kids don’t need things, they need lots of unconditional love, attention, and guidance, but you already knew that. Check out Bob Marley, one of the most prolific, intelligent people to ever walk this planet and he never basked in material riches but shared his wealth of knowledge, love, and community with everyone around him. Flick shiny bikes, I bet you will be astonished at what memories really touched your kids when they are adults. Keep up the good work guys, God Bless all of you.

I agree with your statement on Bob Marley, however from what I understand, he never really struggled with money, and by the end of his life was beyond rich.(and got killed by the CIA!!! but it's for another time)
I hope that you are right, we tend to romanticize hardship, until the day you have your kids saying "I am hungry" and there's nothing left to give them.
I don't wish it to anyone, even my worse enemy, and no kids deserve to starve out there.
I am sure you can see it everyday right in the streets of CR, that mix of happiness and misery in the same bag can be so mindboggling.

That mixed bag is unfortunately every frikken where. It’s the dichotomy of life. I don’t know what it’s like to be hungry and not have the ability to eat, it seems that would be a fundamental human need going in met. With the resources of this world, the wealth of some people inhabiting it, and the intelligence of others no one should ever be in this predicament. We have the ability to feed everyone but we opt for scales to remain unbalanced. It’s a tough thing to really look at, and it’s a tough thing to see. I think that’s why society ends up marginalizing people so they don’t have to look at it. I’m totally rambling, I know.
Anyway, I’m not a Hells Angel by any means. I have found that those who look rough on the exterior can turn out to be the most empathetic, genuine, loyal people you’d come across on this life journey. There that 😉

I am quite sure that the gap will keep on increasing, the next step will be for people to enhance themselves, with technology.

That chipping ourselves and total recall future is totally already happening. It really took hold when these flippen phones got in every persons pocket. Atleast in the US, people don’t know how to look you in the eye anymore because they are on their phones. The least amount of time is spent on the phone actually talking. It’s bazaar. I wonder how a super advanced hybrid robot/human would procreate… maybe charge together or something…

When I’m getting tattoos, the one or two that I have, maybe you’ve seen some.. The more they hurt, the more rewarding I know they’re going to be. It’s proven, I’ve proven it time and time again. Like 50% of my body or something. Higher the pain - higher the reward.
