Okay these are not truly self portraits, because @escapist helped me, but let’s say they are, just for the sake of the video and what I normally do.
I was going to post this right after I posted these pictures last week, but completely forgot about it!
I already did a post process on Photoshop, and I said in there that I much prefer that, over Lightroom. I wanted to record my process with that too, to show the difference. There are some things that work a little better on LR, like the healing tool is smarter and adjusting the colours is more detailed in here. If I feel like I have a need to do more extravagant colour adjustments, I use Lightroom, but that is rarely what I do for my photographs.
I just find working with Photoshop a lot more enjoyable, it’s lighter and easier, so that is what I mostly use.

I gave up on Lightroom a while back. Capture One handles colours a lot better. Of course they're only tools so work with whatever gets you the results you're looking for. Worth pointing out for the people chiming in on the LR vs PS argument, they're intended for different purposes, meant to be used along side each other not one being an alternative to the other.
Using both, well that just sounds like too much work😅
There's some overlap but they each do things the other simply doesn't do. Obviously it depends on your workflow and what features you use, but they are designed to work together.

Light room is one of the best ever in editing. And if you are on the picture, looks stunning.

Hi.. I use Pixelmator for the mac though i don't use it much on photos in general, on the other machine it's corel paintshop or x7 cause it's quick and easy to do stuff.
