Hello 🐝lovely🐝bees🐝! It’s Thursday 18th June 2020!! Happy Almost-Friday!

Well, yesterday was fun!

I went up the renovation house, finished the painting and did some work in the bathroom.

We went shopping. I took the dogs for a walk by the river and Basil decided to jump in and chase the coypu!

We got back and expected to have a relaxing evening in front of the TV… but no! At 8pm the guest I thought was arriving today, arrived. It was my mistake! So we had to rush around and get the room ready and prepare a three course meal. We managed to pull it off. That is only the second mistake we’ve made like that in 12 years of running the B&B.

I was up before 6am to prepare breakfast. I am going to head up to the renovation house to do some more work on the bathroom this morning.

I have been to the co-operative artisanal shop and opened it up and taken some photos:

Later, I will be playing the guitar, writing and reading too.

I've never stayed at a B&B, sounds like a good time!

Here in Pennsylvania, things are beginning to open up ( a bit soon, I fear) so we may resolve to visit the park as not many people go there.

I see you're in France. Never been there. The closest I got was southern Germany in 2017, but it's on my bucket list.

Gotta see "The City if Lights" :)

Paris is a beautiful city. But there are lots of wonderful places to visit in Europe! A chambers d'hotes (the french version of a B&B) is usually a bit more personal than a hotel (in the UK they are often just like mini hotels). But it is a bit difficult with the current restrictions to keep it as personal as it is supposed to be!
