Life is always what we make out of it, and it's never going to be the same as we think all the time. Certain times really brings out the good and some other times brings out the bad. Nothing is just as we think all the time, but we hope for more as time passes.
I really smiled at the back of my head, when I saw a mate of mine wrote in one of our groups that he seems to over stayed his welcome at home after service to the nation. And I know for a fact that his is not as bad like he thinks.
In our certain here, parents really sees themselves that they are done with you immediately they are able to pass through the ranks of education to achieve your diploma or first degree. And the rest is all yours to struggle through.
Even for as low as you finish your Grade 12 here, you are a lucky person if your parents gives you money as they used to while you were in your grade school days. While you wait for your results to enter high school, all you will have or be on while you enter high school will be left overs from previous day. You either eat that or stay hungry until dinner is prepared that day.
So after entering any of the tertiary institutions and graduated with still no job but sitting around home all the time, you will be looked as a failure, until you find a job. So him saying he feels he has over stayed his welcome kind of sparked all these moments people out there faces.
I only hope he finds a job soon and be seen worthy for all the money spent on his education. But in all good life, live it well.
