Gaming History Seven Kingdoms Ancient Adversaries “The Real Time Strategy (RTS) evolved”

in #gaming8 years ago

Seven Kingdoms Ancient Adversaries - Trevor Chan’s Seven Kingdoms proved that the real time strategy (RTS) doesn’t have to be just orcs and humans smashing heads, it brought in diplomacy, economy, espionage and a population management. Didn’t really do well on the whole combat part.

I remember this game, well explained

Awesome. I remember this one. I loved it, and of course, I never actually won at it (me and strategy have a difficult relationship). I was always left with my last fort of ultra-strong vikings and got attacked by a ton of troops, and I saw my heroes fall one by one on the battlefield. They shall be remembered.

I never got to try the sequels, I knew about SK2 and I still could try it someday when I feel nostalgic, I knew nothing about the other one but you didn't really encourage me to know more :D
