Hola, qué tal, continuamos en nuestro curso de oratoria "Comunica mejor". Estamos estudiando el capítulo N° 3 el cual lleva por nombre: "Preproducción y producción". En esta ocasión te estaré presentando la lección N° 9 titulada “Visualiza la película en tu mente. Como sea y donde sea”.

En el baño, en la cama, en el comedor, al aire libre, en el carro o en la sala reunido con la familia. Cualquier lugar es ideal para hacerlo. ¡Vamos, hazlo! Sin pena. Desinhíbete, suéltate el pelo, disfrútalo sin pudor. Evidentemente me refiero a practicar tu discurso. Sí, tu discurso, o bien, esa conversación que deseas tener con tu jefe el próximo lunes.

Luego de escribir y esquematizar nuestras ideas ahora lo que toca es practicar, ensayar y repasar. Somos actores, los protagonistas de nuestra película. Como ya habrás notado en los títulos de los capítulos y lecciones, tomo la oratoria como una rama de la actuación, de hecho lo es, al igual que la locución. Usamos un guion, emitimos palabras y silencios; nuestra voz (que debe tener matices, entonaciones, proyección) y los gestos en nuestro rostro y resto del cuerpo están presentes en un 93% de nuestra presentación. Cuando comencemos a ver la oratoria como una mini película quizá le empecemos a tomar más el gusto, al fin y al cabo, muchos tenemos la fantasía de ser actores o aparecer en televisión. Te invito pues, a visualizar esa película, piensa en ella, créala en tu mente, practica allí solo, contigo mismo. Imagina que estás en el lugar de tu presentación.

Y por supuesto, ensaya tu obra donde sea y con quien sea. Cuando te encuentres con tu amigo en el cafetín de la universidad, cuéntale ese programa de radio que estás preparando o la exposición que tienes la semana próxima. ¿Vas en tu automóvil y hay tremendo trancón? ¡No hay problema! Llama a tu abuelita y háblale sobre esa presentación de ventas que tienes en 2 días. La cuestión es que hables de eso siempre, con tus amigos, en el baño frente al espejo o grabándote en video con el celular en tu cuarto cuando estés solo en la casa. Recuerda, donde sea y como sea.

Hi there, we're continuing our public speaking course "Communicate better". We are studying chapter 3 which is called: "Pre-production and production". This time I will be presenting lesson 9 entitled "Visualize the movie in your mind. Whatever and wherever".

In the bathroom, in bed, in the dining room, outdoors, in the car or in the family room. Anywhere is great for that. Go ahead and do it! No shame. When we begin to see public speaking as a mini movie, perhaps we will begin to take more pleasure in it, after all, many of us have the fantasy of being actors or appearing on television. So I invite you to visualize that movie, think about it, believe it in your mind, practice it there alone, with yourself. Imagine that you are in the place of your presentation.

And of course, rehearse your play anywhere and with anyone. When you meet your friend at the university cafeteria, tell him about that radio show you're preparing or the exhibition you have next week. You go in your car and there's a huge traffic jam? No problem! Call your grandmother and tell her about that sales presentation you have in two days. The point is to always talk about it, with your friends, in the bathroom in front of the mirror or by videotaping yourself with your cell phone in your room when you're home alone. Remember, wherever and however.
