  and on top of that you can't build an egalitarian system over the internet if somebody at the end of the day has to still work in a coal mine for scraps to keep his computer going.

  It is literally against the law, it doesn't matter how simple it is if the government gets in the way. Here, steem is not open source

  "Steemit runs on open source code," last I checked only the website itself was open source. The blockchain itself can not be forked legally, I don't know if that changed…

  I fundamentally disagree with every system under capitalism. The entire system is build on slavery. You can not escape it, so the only option if you oppose slavery is to use the system to end itself.
